BB Centrum Building E is a landmark office building located in the heart of the Prague 4 district. The locality now represents a prime office location and the major agglomeration of more newly built high specification office product.
Situated adjacent to the D1 highway (the major highway of the Czech Republic leading from Prague to Brno, Bratislava and Vienna) the building has excellent visibility when commuting to or from Prague via this route. There are four public transport lines and bus stops within the BB Centrum complex.
BB Centrum offers a wide range of restaurants, shops and services such as recently completed Brumlovka Balance Club, a top class leisure and recreational centre.
The building was completed in April 2007. The southwest façade has been designed to minimise the noise of the adjacent highway traffic. The perforated façade construction style reflects the noise towards the grass slope between the Trunk Road and the approaching ramp; subsequently deflection occurs to an accentuated height above that of the façade.
The remaining all glass facades, with an irregular framing system, allow the penetration of abundant natural light into the interiors and thus provides employees with a high level working environment.
The interior of the office space was designed with practicality and space efficiency in mind and therefore offers the possibility of a sub-division for multi-tenant occupation. The triangular atrium with panoramic lifts interconnects floors while at the same time allows natural light into the office section facing directly on to the atrium. The building offers an indoor canteen facility and impressive roof gardens with a relaxation terrace.
